The Classes

We have been running classes here for over 25 years and are delighted with the success and feeling of satisfaction that has been created for our students of all ages and experiences.

The emphasis of the classes is to learn all aspects of Upholstery to a high standard in a relaxed and fun environment. All the work carried out in the workshops is of the highest quality, using mostly traditional techniques and materials.

Class Times

Monday: 10-1pm

Tuesday: 10-1pm & 2-4.30pm

Wednesday: 10-1pm

Thursday: 10-1pm & 6.30-9pm

Course Fees

Classes run for 6 weeks during term time, offering 3 hourly sessions per week. All prices include free tea & coffee - please bring a mug! 

6 Week Course = £200 paid in advance before every half-term.

Small Furniture Storage

Furniture storage is available should you require it here in one of the outbuildings for a fee of £1 per week.

Our Upholstery Workshop Location

The Creative Upholstery Classes Workshop is set in the beautiful Dorset countryside just outside the market town of Wimborne Minster. It is in a converted farm building on the National Trust - Kingston Lacy Estate and provides a perfect setting for traditional crafts.

Tools of the Trade

All the tools you will need to start the courses are provided by us, but you may have some of your own you would like to bring along too.

Materials

All materials that you’ll need such as stuffings, springs, hessians, webbings etc are available to buy here and sold at trade price.
